Homer was admitted to hospital in Prince Albert after suffering a blood clot.  He had recently returned from Victoria where he had been visiting Esther & David.  Muriel & Doug travelled from Vancouver, Washington to visit him & other family members.  They stopped in Rosetown to visit with Earl, Jean, Harold, Lewis & Charline.  They had to endure a blinding snow storm, battery problems in sub-zero weather & lack of sleep, but are grateful to God for a safe trip.   Homer is staying with Darlene & Blair in Prince Albert while he recovers.

David was in Regina.  He & Nathan had been in Vancouver & when Nathan returned to Toronto, David made a quick stop.

Ivy Hunter who has a birthday on  March 31st is the Great Granddaughter of Earl (Preston’s daughter). 

 

Feb 18 was a packed house to the "Alberta Nappy Roots; Straight Truth, No Lye". It was great, and the cast and crew was pretty well all family. Mike & Jessica (Saunders) Adeniken wrote it and acted in it along with Sherisse, Danny, Wade Edwards, Rick’s wife Junetta, and daughter Sierra, Pam & Sam (Leffler) Parker, Anthony Adeniken, RJ (Darkson Tribe), Monika Adeniken, Trevor, and a few friends Les, Dustin.  Behind the scenes Marlene & Arlene did costumes.  Rick helped out on technical side
